
It is also seen that the number of years in the business
directly corresponds to higher sales. Among those with
less than 5 years of experience, 42% made annual sales
worth less than $500,000 while only 6% made over $1
million. As opposed to this, among advisors with more
than 30 years of experience, 44% made annual gross
sales worth over a million dollars while only 13% sold
less than $500,000.
In terms of age, more than half (53%) of the advisors
belonged to the 45-65 age group, slightly more than a
third (35%) were above 65.
