CHALLENGES FACED IN SELLING OCEAN CRUISES What are the challenges that advisors face when selling ocean cruises? Half of (1 in 2) advisors said that the cost of the vacation is a deterring factor. Supplier itinerary/schedule not matching with client preferences or vacation times is another challenge. Compared to the 2023 TMR Cruise Trends Outlook, almost twice the share of advisors said that their clients are concerned about getting sea sick. There are many remedies now available to help with this. Concerns about crowded cruises has reduced over the last two years.
