Most advisors feel that the typical river cruise client is
well traveled (73%) and has previously experienced ocean
cruises (71%), even if they might be first-time river cruisers
(43%).
Thirty-nine percent of advisors said that river cruise clients
prefer staying at luxury hotels and resorts. Four out of ten
advisors said that most river cruise clients preferred to
travel with friends/family.
Only 10% of advisors said that their river cruise clients
were first-time cruisers of any kind.
