The growth in the travel industry is here to stay. Whether it is to tick off a bucket-list experience, deepen bonds with friends and family or just go on a solo adventure, everyone is traveling. Advisors form the backbone of the industry and are very often the driving factors of important changes. Advisors continue to show an eagerness to learn new skills—ranging from product knowledge to business building and promotions. This enthusiasm indicates a forward-looking attitude, and allows the industry to explore new avenues. We have seen in the TMR Distribution Outlook 2024 that advisors are primarily selling established destinations, but as they reach out to new client bases, one can expect a growth in new destinations or new itineraries. Much of this change has also been because of the coming in of younger advisors as well as many experienced advisors charting out their independent journeys. This shift in the industry cannot be emphasized enough as it will inform how training programs are crafted and scheduled. As they set up and consolidate their business, the ICs will need more help and training from host agencies and suppliers and mentorship from the senior advisors. This support could be in training formats, commissions on NCFs or even better operations and communication from the supplier. Growth for one has always translated into growth for all in the industry. This Outlook informs suppliers and destinations about what advisors need at the moment to better equip themselves to sell better. It is also a report for consortia and host agencies on how they can better retain and get more advisors to sign up. CONCLUSION
