With a younger pool of advisors joining the industry, i.e.,
those with fewer years of experience, support from all
areas needs to be amped up, especially those that help
them navigate the nuances of the industry better. The
recent outlooks reflect this.
Many advisors shared that customer service, training
programs, and technology and booking platforms were
the top factors when selecting which host agency or
consortium to affiliate with. Commission from suppliers
is another factor, and is likely to move the needle for
high grossing advisors, looking now to improve their
bottom-line.
