to? First-time cruisers are more likely to opt for
the contemporary segment. Advisors revealed
that as cruise guests progressed from contem-
porary to ultra-luxury segment, the share of
first-time cruisers dropped from 70% to 27%.
On the other hand, repeat cruisers tend to
upgrade to other segments. Advisors say that
once customers experience cruising, they are
far more likely to spend more for a luxurious
experience the next time around.
