amenities as the top influencer for booking
a luxury cruise vacation. Luxury cruise is an
experiential product and naturally the clients
are looking for a hassle free and unobtrusive
experience along with a white glove service.
In the words of an advisor, “everyone loves
a good bargain, even if it is only perceived.”
Along with their choice of a destination/
itinerary, the reputation of the cruise line
and advisor recommendations are the
other key influencers in selecting a luxury
cruise vacation.
According to the advisors, while some
travelers prefer to stick to one cruise line in
the quest for loyalty points that can elevate
their next travel experiences, others look
forward to activities like Broadway shows
on board. Many of the travelers, however,
have come back a little disappointed from the
luxury cruise lines, they said. The reduction in

amenities and activities available on board due to the pandemic
didn’t go too well for some while others weren’t too thrilled by
the strictly formal dress code for all meals.
