12 | CHART 3 When it comes to sales, experience matters, especially for multi-gen cruise travel. A majority of our respondents are seasoned advisors with 80% having more than six years of sales experience (see Chart 3). Almost half of these (47%) have been selling travel for more than two decades. However, in the aftermath of the pandemic, the share of such advisors has declined in 2022 as compared to 2021. Meanwhile, six percent (6%) of respondents have less than two years of sales experience. This number was just 3% in 2021 indicating that many advisors started in the industry amid the pandemic.
