In terms of annual gross bookings. 55% of agency owners/managers recorded more than $1 million in 2019, of
which an impressive 33% did more than $2 million. Meanwhile, 31% of the Independent Contractors and 65%
of travel advisors/employees made a booking volume annually over $1 million. Of this, a substantial percentage
raked in more than $2 million – a sign that they have sold high-value products as well.
More than half (51%) of the total respondents excluding Independent Contractors recorded more than $1 million
in agency annual gross sales in 2019. (see Chart 2)
