In order to draw out authoritative and reliable feedback, it
was important that the survey participants were well-qual-
ified for a product such as expedition cruises. Almost
half – 48% – of the total respondents are travel agency
owners or managers, which ensures that the insights
offered by this Expedition Cruise Outlook reflect that of
experienced advisors who are decision-makers. Indepen-
dent Contractors also made up a substantial chunk of the
survey population at 37%. (see Chart 1)
