Shifting to the advisors’ perspective, they view
the same features as important in the buying
decision. Promotions and price, ports, and
itinerary all factor in at over 69% of the time.
However, the most important factor that influ-
ences their recommendation is the experience
and reputation of the cruise line. Seventy-five
percent (75%) of advisors who responded
stated that this was critical to what influenced
their buying decision (see Chart 11).
