When it comes to selecting cruise lines, Hurtigruten, Silversea, and Quark top the list, followed by a cluster of well-

known brands. The ranking of smaller brands ahead of big-named companies reinforces that in this unique, ultra-

niche market, advisors are looking for destination-specific expertise (see Chart 13).

As one advisor stated there is a huge difference between Polar Cruising, (Scenic, Ponant, Oceania, Crystal, Silversea,

Regent Seven Seas, and Seabourn) and Expedition Cruising (Quark, G Adventures, Aurora, Linblad, and UnCruise).
