EXPERIENCE AND ITINERARY FACTOR AS
PROMINENT CRITERIA
Advisors
are
entrusting
their
clients to the experts. Sixty-five
percent (65%) selected experience
and reputation of the cruise
line as their top motivator for
choosing a Polar brand (see Chart
12). Itinerary and ports visited
play a close second – most likely
predicated on the wildlife viewing
opportunities offered.
Interestingly, the age of the ship
and onboard dining options rank
lowest on the advisors list of
criteria. This reinforces that unlike
other cruises where advisors can
often be heard saying, “the ship
itself is a destination,” with Polar,
the ship is not the main event.
