Marriott International is expanding its All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy portfolio this year with brand-new and reimagined hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean.

The hotel giant’s all-inclusive collection has 31 properties in nine destinations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean and is continuing to grow globally. In addition to several new openings in Mexico and the Caribbean, Marriott plans to open its first all-inclusive in Tunisia later this year.

“Over the past five years we’ve experienced sustained increase in demand for all-inclusive resorts with requests for more high-end all-inclusive hotels,” said Martin Castano, regional vice president of sales and distribution at Marriott International. “This demand led us to focus expanding our luxury offering within the segment.”

Here’s a closer look at the All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy properties opening in 2024.

Almare, a Luxury Collection All-Inclusive Resort, Isla Mujeres, Mexico
As Marriott’s second all-inclusive resort in its luxury collection, Almare has the classiness and quality amenities for clients seeking an elevated experience. The 105-room property is located a short car or ferry ride away from Costa Mujeres and across the bay from Cancun. Set to open in Q2 of 2024, the resort features two pools, a beach club, and four dining options.

Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort, Mexico
In spring 2024, Marriott Cancun, the brand’s legacy property on the Yucatan Peninsula, will re-open as the first-ever Marriott-branded all-inclusive resort in the world. The reopening will unveil redesigned rooms, suites, and facilities. It will also mark the official launch of Marriott Bonvoy’s partnership with CAMP Club, which will offer new experiences for children, including arts and crafts, games, themed environments, and other creative activities.

W All-Inclusive Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Opening in late 2024, W All-Inclusive Punta Cana will mark the W Hotels’ all-inclusive and Dominican Republic debut. The brand-new, adults-only resort on the shores of Uvero Alto is expected to feature 349 guestrooms with balconies and plunge pools, as well as several suites. It is also planned to have a spa with 11 treatment rooms, three pools with bars, 11 dining and drinking venues, and exciting entertainment.

Treasure Beach by Elegant Hotels, Barbados
Another adults-only resort, Treasure Beach by Elegant Hotels in Barbados will re-brand as an Autograph Collection hotel when it re-opens this year. The resort is ideal for food lovers with Chef’s Table experiences, as well as culinary workshops and art crawls.

In addition to these new resort launches for 2024, Marriott plans to add new-builds JW Marriott All-Inclusive Costa Mujeres and W All-Inclusive Costa Mujeres, both in Cancun, in 2025.
