Palladium Hotel Group has big plans for new developments in Jamaica.
In February, the hotel and resort operator broke ground on the expansion of Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Jamaica. Palladium will also debut TRS Hotels, an adults-only luxury all-inclusive brand, in the Caribbean country.
“Jamaica holds a special place in Palladium Hotel Group’s global portfolio, and we are confident in the island’s continued tourism potential,” said Abel Matutes, president of Palladium Hotel Group. “This development highlights our commitment to supporting Jamaica’s economic growth, creating sustainable employment opportunities, and further enhancing the island’s appeal as a premier tourist destination.”
The $20 million Palladium expansion project will add 948 rooms to the property, enhance it amenities, and upgrade to more sustainable features. It will also introduce the Family selection program, a VIP service offering exclusive spaces and dedicated concierge for families.
Located in Lucea, Hanover, a coastal town in northwestern Jamaica, Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa and the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa first opened in 2008.
Palladium’s new luxury brand, TRS Hotels, will have properties across the Caribbean and Jamaica, offering “a sophisticated and modern experience tailored for couples, newlyweds, and solo travelers.”
