Margaritaville Rebrands U.S., Costa Rica Resorts
by Jessica MontevagoTan-Tar-A Resort in Central Missouri and Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa in Costa Rica will be reflagged as Margaritaville properties, effective immediately.
Located on the northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, the oceanfront Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa boasts 120 guestrooms and suites, a pool with a swim-up bar, an oceanfront restaurant and lounge, a family center, a spa, a tennis court and a fitness center. The property is located on the Blue Flag-certified ecological Flamingo Beach and offers full range of activities for eco-tourists, from scuba diving and deep-sea fishing to jungle canopy tours and day trips to the famous Arenal Volcano.
Tan-Tar-A Resort is a 500-room lakefront property spread across 1,150 miles of shoreline on Lake of the Ozarks. Amenities include two golf courses, a 103-slip marina, eight food and beverage venues, a spa, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and a 20,000 square-foot indoor waterpark. Sports facilities including tennis, basketball and beach volleyball courts are also on-site.
Margaritaville partnered privately held investment firm Driftwood Acquisitions & Development, which specializes in the acquisition and development of hotel assets. Both properties will remain open during the various phases of rebranding. Renovations are expected to commence immediately and will incorporate Margaritaville’s signature ‘casual-luxe’ design elements.
