Netflix’s Stranger Things Partners With Universal for Halloween Horror Nights
by Jessica MontevagoThe parallel universe from Netflix’s hit show Stranger Things won’t just be terrorizing the small town of Hawkins anymore – the Upside Down is coming to Universal Orlando.
Fans at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights will get the chance to brave the Upside Down as the park debuts an all-new maze inspired by the critically-acclaimed series.
Through a collaboration with Netflix and the creators and executive producer of the blockbuster series—Matt Duffer, Ross Duffer and Shawn Levy—the maze will transport guests into recreated scenes and storylines, including the Hawkins National Laboratory, the Byers home, and, of course, Upside Down woods.
The experience will also premiere at Universal’s theme parks in Hollywood and Singapore
Halloween Horror Nights 2018 begins Friday, September 14 and will run on select nights through November 3. Select vacation packages for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights are on sale now.
