British Airways is eliminating free snacks on its short-haul flights and will offer selections for sale from Marks & Spencer’ Food on the Move menu.
The carrier said it “is acting on feedback” from customers.
The selections are priced from £1 to £4.95, and customers can pay with Avios, British Airways’ frequent flyer “global currency.”
Menu choices include vegetarian, gluten-free and healthy fresh options plus snacks and comfort foods. Seasonal options will be introduced throughout the year.
The Marks & Spencer menu will be available in the economy cabin on short-haul and domestic flights from London Heathrow and Gatwick from January 11 and from London City and London Stansted by next summer.
