The long-awaited debut of the new W Punta Cana finally has a date.
Marriott will open the new all-inclusive resort on April 15, making it one of the first W All-Inclusive resorts globally and one of the first W Hotels properties in Punta Cana. Reservations are now open.
The official opening has been a long time coming for Marriott, which is calling the property an “elevated adult all-inclusive experience.” The hotel company signed the deal to build and open the resort in 2022 and targeted Punta Cana as the destination to launch the W All-Inclusive brand.

The hotel offers 340 guest rooms and suites, ranging from a standard premier room with a terrace and tropical view to a massive 4,700-square-foot, three-bedroom Larimar Penthouse Suite that includes its own private pool. In between, there’s also a signature W Suite and a two-bedroom Oasis Suite that includes access to the hotel’s oceanfront area.
For food and drink, W Punta Cana features 13 bars and restaurants, including an Asian noodle bar, a Mediterranean restaurant on the beach called Taman, a beachfront restaurant called The Cay serving Caribbean fare, and the Satsuma Rooftop bar and lounge, which offers pre-dinner drinks and small bites.
The hotel also offers an Away Spa with 10 treatment rooms, a 1,500-square-foot gym, and dual outdoor swimming pools.
