Hotels Use Pokemon Go To Attract Millennials

Hotels are jumping on the Pokemon Go bandwagon.
In an effort to attract younger travelers, many are taking to social media, and mentioning the reality-based Pokemon Go game that’s becoming a worldwide phenomenon.
Out of 5,000 hotel and resort social media posts between July 6 and July 17, 9.2% mentioned Pokemon Go at least once, according to hospitality CRM company Ryan Solutions.
But the fad seems to be passing, and any companies that haven’t jumped onboard yet might have missed the opportunity. The company said references to Pokemon have steadily declined to just 1.9%.
