Hilton To Launch New Affordable Brand Aimed at Millennials
Hilton Worldwide on Monday announced plans for a new hotel brand in the midscale market—Tru by Hilton, geared toward the “millennial mindset.”
Rooms start at $90 a night and center around technology and design. Each has a 55-inch TV, a mini-refrigerator, and up to a dozen electrical outlets.
The hotel lobbies are larger, with areas for eating, lounging, and working, plus a free breakfast bar, with options ranging from Greek yogurt to donuts.
Hilton said the brand will be coming to Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Portland, and Nashville. The first property is expected to open later this year.
