Dreamworks Set to Build First-of-its-Kind Theme Park in Latin America

Construction for Dreamworks’ new theme park on the Riviera Maya is slated to begin next year. The first-of-its-kind park in Latin America will feature characters from animated movies like “Shrek” and “Madagascar,” similar to the one in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, NJ – with rides, theaters, restaurants, shopping, and water rides.

The park is expected to help drive up the number of South American tourists in the area.
