World’s Next Largest Cruise Ship to Homeport at Port Canaveral

Wonder of the Seas, Royal Caribbean’s fifth Oasis-class ship, and the world’s next largest cruise ship will welcome guests out of Port Canaveral, Fla. starting in November 2022.
Royal announced this week that the ship will extend its 2022 winter season that starts in November with a series of 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises out of Port Canaveral, with ports of call including Cozumel, St. Maarten, San Juan, and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Wonder will debut in November at, with a capacity of 6,988 passengers, will be the world’s next largest cruise ship. When it does debut, all five of the world’s largest ships—Allure, Oasis, Harmony, and Symphony—will be sailing under Royal.
Wonder will also be the first Oasis-class ship with eight neighborhoods, rather than seven. Highlights include:
- Suite Class Neighborhood: A keycard-accessible area with the ship’s best suites, the Coastal Kitchen suite’s only restaurant, and an elevated Suite Sun Deck, complete with plunge pool and bar.
- The Vue: This cantilevered pool bar is an all-new concept for Royal Caribbean
- Royal Caribbean Staples: FlowRider, Ultimate Abyss, Perfect Storm waterslides, 150 Central Park, Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen, The Lime & Coconut, Schooner Bar, Playmakers, etc.
