Victory Cruise Line, which relaunches in April 2025, has named the godmothers for Victory I and Victory II. In both instances, Chairman John Waggoner turned to his family to find two inspirational women for the job.
Waggoner’s daughter Emily Coleman will serve as godmother of Victory I, while his oldest granddaughter Molly Applegate will serve as godmother of Victory II.
“I am proud to have three accomplished and successful daughters, three sons-in-law who share my passion for fishing and cars, five beautiful grandchildren who say I still ‘have it’ – whatever ‘it’ is – and, of course, my biggest cheerleader Claudette,” Waggoner said.
Victory Cruise Lines will return to the waterways in mid-April 2025 with a special reunion cruise hosted by Waggoner and his wife Claudette. The 10-night New England & Canada voyage will also feature notable guest entertainers.
Victory I will be named in Toronto on April 27, following the reunion cruise. Victory II will be named on May 12 at Chicago’s Navy Pier, before setting sail to Toronto, calling on all five Great Lakes.
Each Victory Cruise Lines voyage includes one-night pre-cruise hotel stay with included ground transfers between the hotel and ship, and from the ship to the airport; all oceanviwe accommodations (some with veranda); and included shore excursion in every port; unlimited beverages and Wi-Fi; and more.
Guests who book a Victory Cruise Line sailing through Jan. 8, 2025 can take advantage of $2,000 in savings per stateroom and one free pre-cruise, premium shore excursion. Special savings are also available on Milwaukee voyages.
