Uniworld Tweaks Its Jewish Heritage River Cruise
by Cheryl RosenHaving just completed its first-ever Jewish Heritage river cruise on the River Ambassador down the Rhine, Uniworld is using feedback from its first round of guests to tweak its product for next time.
This year the cruise’s 10-day itinerary included only Germany, with stops in Munich, Dachau, Nuremberg, Frankfurt, Wertheim and Cologne. Next year it will add other important cities in Jewish history, likely including Amsterdam, home of Anne Frank, and Basel, Switzerland, a Uniworld spokesperson told TMR.
This year’s trip was “beautifully executed,” she said. Uniworld is “just expanding to new destinations and new countries. There is a lot more to offer, including maybe a Jewish culinary component.”
