All of Royal Caribbean cruise brands, which includes Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara, and Silversea, are extending their “Cruise with Confidence” 48-hour cancellation policy through April 2022.
Any bookings made from now until Aug. 1, 2020, for sailings through April 2022, will allow guests to cancel up to 48-hours prior to their sailing and receive a full refund.
Royal also said it has added two other updates to the policy—one, a “Best Price Guarantee,” will give guest the chance to change the promo offer on their reservation up to 48-hours prior to their cruise, and, a second, called “Lift and Shift,” will allow guests to move their booking to the same itinerary, with the same promotional offers, for another cruise date.
Royal Caribbean Ltd.’s chairman and CEO Richard Fain said that the policy will allow guests “to make informed decisions and to better manage complicated travel plans during this unprecedented time of uncertainty.
