Regent Seven Seas Brings Canyon Ranch Wellness Program Onboard

by Daniel McCarthy  March 30, 2017

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has partnered with health spa resort Canyon Ranch to introduce a new wellness pairing program for this summer’s Seven Seas Voyager Mediterranean sailings.

The program matches wellness-themed excursions with Canyon Ranch SpaClub services—world of relief body buff, tangle me up wrap, ocean scrub, sole rejuvenation and vitamin infusion facials—to create “holistic wellbeing with opportunities that nurture the body, as well as nourish the soul,” Regent said.

More than 10 excursions will be offered, including:

  • Marseilles, France: A Tai Chi class in the courtyard of the 19th century Pharo Palace overlooking the Mediterranean
  • Sorrento, Italy: A dip in the hydrothermal pools of the Stufe di Nerone Baths and tour the burning Phlegreaen Fields
  • Venice, Italy: A new attraction dedicated to the Venetian tradition of perfume at the Museum of Palazzo Mocenigo, where guests can create their own personal souvenir perfume
  • Athens, Greece: Swim and snorkel at Vouliagmeni Lake, which maintains a 75 degrees temperature all year around

Each pairing of an excursion and a spa service will carry a supplemental charge of $299 per guest.

Regent also will offer Canyon Ranch Balance Selection items on dinner menus, and include healthy selections such as low-fat yogurt, homemade muesli, nuts and fresh fruits at the Pool Grill.

“From eating right and exercising to practicing ways to reduce stress and experience moments that uplift the spirit, wellness is quickly becoming the ultimate luxury,” said president and CEO Jason Montague.

The 7- to 10-night sailings, on the Mediterranean from May through September, will be available for booking in April 2017.
