For the first time in its history, Norwegian cruise company Hurtigruten has a U.S. headquarters. The cruise line today opened an administrative office and consumer travel center in Seattle.
Gordon Dirker, managing director of Hurtigruten North America, said the opening is a result of an “aggressively focused” plan to grow sales in the “largest of all explorer cruise markets.”
Hurtigruten is currently in the midst of an expansion that includes building two new state-of-the-art expedition vessels that will sail the Arctic and Antarctic, along with the Norwegian coastline.
