Carnival Raises Bottled Water Prices
Less than a year after banning cruisers from bringing their own bottled water onboard its ships, Carnival Cruise Line is raising the price of bottled water sold onboard.
A 12-pack of bottled water is now $3.99, up from the $2.99 that Carnival had been charging since June.
Last June, Carnival announced cruisers would no longer be allowed to bring any bottled beverages onboard Carnival ships because of safety concerns. As part of that announcement, Carnival reduced the prices for bottled water it sold to $2.99 plus tax for a pre-purchased pack of a dozen 500ml water bottles, or $4.99 for the same package purchased while onboard.
