For the first time since 2020, Canadian low-cost carrier Swoop has returned to Orlando International Airport.
Swoop is now flying from Hamilton, Ontario to Orlando twice weekly, expanding its year-round service out of Hamilton to now include Las Vegas four times weekly, Cancun three times weekly, and the new Orlando service. Rates for those flights will start at $99 CAD.
“As Canada’s number one sun-flying ultra-low-cost airline, we are thrilled to offer our Hamiltonian’s year-round flights to Orlando International Airport,” said Bob Cummings, President of Swoop. “We know residents of southern Ontario value affordable connectivity to Florida so we’re proud to be unlocking year-round service to Orlando.”
The carrier this week also unveiled its summer schedule out of Toronto. Swoop will fly daily service to Cancun, along with three times weekly service to Montego Bay, Kingston, Punta Cana, and Varadero.
Swoop has been undertaking a rapid expansion since its launch in 2018. Bert van der Stege, Swoop’s head of commercial and finance, spoke to TMR last year and said that travelers should expect Swoop to continue that rapid expansion, both inside and outside Canada.
