Delta Air Lines is discontinuing service to Tahiti.
The airline will end its Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Faa’a International Airport (PPT) route in June, according to schedules published on Cirium. TPG was the first to report the news.
Delta has operated the route three times weekly on a Boeing 767 since December 2022. Passengers booked on flights after the service ends will be rebooked on Delta’s partner, Air France, which operates the route with a Boeing 777-200ER as part of its Paris-to-Tahiti service.
According to TPG, Delta is making the change based on consumer demand.
