Hyatt’s Andaz brand, a collection of luxury lifestyle hotels, has officially opened its newest property, the Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach, on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand. The hotel is the first Andaz hotel in the country.

“With the growing demand for immersive, authentic experiences among luxury travelers, we are delighted by the launch of the vibrant Andaz brand in Thailand, one of the world’s most appealing destinations,” said David Udell, group president, Asia-Pacific, Hyatt.

The hotel is spread over 15 acres on Tawanron Beach, long known as “Sunset Beach.” It offers 204 rooms, suites, and villas, starting at 528 sq. ft. All rooms include locally influenced interiors, walk-in rain showers, and a balcony or terrace with a daybed.

Rooms also include multi-generational accommodations that cater to families and larger groups, along with pool suites that offer direct access to the resort’s pool and beachfront suites that provide the same to the sand.

The hotel will also add two heritage-inspired houses over the next two months—one, a four-bedroom Manor House, and the other, a six-bedroom Presidential Heritage House, each with its own private pools, courtyards, butler service, and ocean views.

For dining, Andaz Pattaya Jomtien offers six different restaurants and bars including Fish Club, which sources local seafood poolside, Wok Wok, which serves traditional Thai comfort food, La Cucina, a trattoria-style Italian restaurant, the Village Butcher steakhouse, and more.

Outside, the hotel also offers three outdoor swimming pools, including a lap pool and a beachfront pool. There’s also a PAÑPURI Spa built a collaboration with the Thai wellness brand and a 24-hour fitness center that features a yoga room.

With the opening, Hyatt now has Andaz properties in Thailand, Bali, Delhi, Seoul, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Singapore, Tokyo, and Xiamen.
