Celebrity Cruises Raises Daily Gratuity Charge

As of July 11, Celebrity Cruises is raising its automatic gratuities across all cabin types. The increase ranges from 50 cents for those staying in inside, ocean view, veranda, Concierge, and AquaClass staterooms to $2 for those staying in The Retreat.
The gratuity increase only applies to cruisers who have not chosen an All Included or Always Included fare, as gratuities are included in the cost of those fares.
Retreat and AquaClass bookings made on or after July 14, 2022 are also exempt from automatic gratuities.
Starting July 11, the new daily service charges will be:
- $18 per person, per day for inside, ocean view, and veranda staterooms (up from $17.50)
- $18.50 per person, per day for Concierge Class and AquaClass staterooms (up from $18)
- $23 per person, per day for guests of The Retreat (up from $21)
