ASTA Rebranding and Relaunching Quarterly Magazine
by Richard D’AmbrosioThe American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) is revamping and relaunching its quarterly magazine, in May, including a new look and feel, and editorial strategy.
Travel Advisor will replace ASTAnetwork Magazine, and will feature “high-profile, experienced writers with decades of experiences,” ranging from publications such as Conde Nast, Bloomberg Pursuits, CBS News, Forbes, Travel + Leisure, USA Today, and the Washington Post.
In addition to ASTA staff experts, “readers will hear from leading industry voices – advisors and suppliers alike – that come together under the ASTA banner,” the organization said.

ASTA members are trusted travel advisors who provide exceptional value to the traveling public,”. “We’re experiencing a true renaissance in our industry, making it a perfect time to celebrate this success by refocusing our editorial strategy,” said Zane Kerby, ASTA President & CEO.
“Our decision to revamp our magazine is part of an overall strategy to create better content, both for our members and for the consumers we try to influence on their behalf,” said Erika Richter, Director of Communications for ASTA. “Articles will be repackaged and republished as part of our ongoing awareness efforts with the consumer-facing media.”
