Family-owned tour operator Collette has named a new senior vice president of global marketing.
Industry veteran Stephanie Mirando is stepping into the SVP of global marketing position at Collette, effective immediately. In the new role, the exec will oversee global marketing initiatives, developing strategies to evolve the company’s global brand.
Rhode Island-based Mirando first joined Collette as partnership marketing specialist in 2013. She’s held various positions at the company over the years, supporting Collette’s partners and the travel advisor community. Most recently she served as vice president of growth.
“The appointment of Stephanie to this role is an example of one of the ways we’re deeply investing in our marketing strategies over the next several years,” said Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, president and CEO of Collette. “Stephanie brings a passion for innovation, strong understanding of the industry and global markets, and exceptional business acumen to this role that will lead us into the next phase of growth for Collette.”
Collette is in its 107th year, making it North America’s longest-running tour operator.
“It’s an honor to have worked in such a dynamic industry for more than a decade,” said Mirando. “I’m eager to bring Collette’s ‘be a trailblazer’ value to life in this role; leading the evolution of our marketing strategies to meet the needs of our audiences and continually enhance the ways we support our partners across the industry.”
Mirando’s promotion is the second senior leadership role announced this month. Just last week, Collette named Denise Sablone as executive vice president of tour development and delivery.
