Knable Joins Ian Schrager Company As COO

Veteran hotelier Christopher Knable, the former Loews Regency GM who guided The Regent Wall Street through 9/11, has returned to New York as COO of Ian Schrager Company.
This new company owns, develops, manages, and brands hotels and residential and mixed-use projects. Projects included Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City, 40 Bond, and 50 Gramercy Park North, as well as a new brand, PUBLIC Hotels. A second new hotel brand is currently in the works is.
Schrager also has a partnership with Marriott International on Edition Hotels.
For the past six years Knable was vice president of Kingdom Hotels, and most recently COO of Katara Hospitality, which owns hotels managed by Ritz-Carlton, Sheraton, The Luxury Collection, Raffles, Marriott, and others.
