JetBlue’s Contract with Travelport Set to Expire Today
Travelport said it was unlikely that JetBlue would come to terms over a new distribution contract that is “competitive for our customers and for Travelport.” The airline’s agreement was slated to expire on Nov. 30.
“It is our expectation that, as of Dec. 1, 2015, JetBlue will no longer be distributed through the Travelport Travel Commerce Platform,” Travelport said in an e-mail over the signature of Kurt Ekert, chief commercial officer.
