Travel Corp. Launches TTC Agent Academy

by Jessica Montevago  February 07, 2017

The Travel Corporation Tuesday unveiled its training initiative TTC Agent Academy, a single platform for the company’s four brands: Trafalgar, Contiki, Insight Vacations and Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection. Graduates will get exclusive travel offers, discounts and fam trips.

The online program was designed to give travel agents one central location for information on all four brands. It will provide a comprehensive look at TTC’s global network, what makes each brand unique and the scope of travel solutions available for clients.

Each of the four brand programs included—Trafalgar Academy, ContikiU, Insight Tour Specialist and Uniworld River Cruise Specialist—provides content that’s accessible online 24/7 through interactive, user-friendly modules. There are currently four introductory courses, but the program will be updated frequently.

Trafalgar Academy’s first course, The Trafalgar Difference, is currently available. Two more, Converting Opportunities into Success and It’s Lifestyle Not Features That Matter, are coming later this year.

Insight Tour Specialist aims to provide agents with a deeper knowledge and understanding of TTC’s premium and luxury tour brands, Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold.

At ContikiU, a travel company for 18-35 year olds, travel professionals can learn more about the brand’s niche product offerings.  Graduates gain access to sales tools, details on special promotions, applications for educational trips and a booking system.

The final course, Uniworld River Cruise Specialist, is coming soon. It will cover the company’s destinations, itineraries, ships and sales opportunities.
