Ireland Now Letting All Citizens Apply for and Renew Passports Online

All Irish citizens can now apply for, and renew, passports online starting on Nov. 28.
Ireland is trying to make it easier for its citizens to apply for and renew passports with a new online passport services that can be accessed 24-hours a day from anywhere in the world.
Starting on Nov. 28, the expanded passport services will allow adults, and now children, to renew and apply for passports online. The service will be €5 cheaper than the old process and will take about 10-days.
As long as a citizen has a digital photo and an email address, and a Child Passport Identity and Conesent form for children, it can all be done online.
Adult passports online will cost €75, while a child’s will cost €20.
