Brightline has unveiled its first-ever loyalty program, and, separately, has partnered up with Loews Hotels to provide train ticket discounts and hotel credits to people staying at two of Loews South Florida properties.
The loyalty program rewards riders of the highspeed rail that connects South Florida with Orlando – and makes it easier for cruisers flying into Miami and Fort Lauderdale to get to their cruise port. Called Brightline Rewards, the program enables riders – whether commuters or tourists – to earn points for their travels on Brightline, which can be redeemed for a variety of rewards.
With three million riders having chosen Brightline in 2024, the company has reached “that maturity point,” where a loyalty program is needed, Ashley Blasewitz, director of media relations at Brightline, told TMR.
“It’s time,” she said.
“Our guests have always been at the center of everything we do, and Brightline Rewards is the next step in recognizing their loyalty,” said Patrick Goddard, CEO of Brightline Florida. “This program rewards all members with valuable perks and an even more personalized travel experience. It’s not just about earning points, it’s about deepening the connection with our guests as we continue to grow.”
Riders earn five points per dollar for every ticket (or multi-ride pack) purchased, along with extra points for PREMIUM tickets, rides to and from Orlando, and parking and checked-bag add-ons. Reward points can be used towards the purchase of train tickets, PREMIUM upgrades, parking, baggage, and more. There are no points minimums for redemption and no blackout dates.
To celebrate the launch of Brightline Rewards, riders can earn triple points on all qualifying purchases for rides booked and taken by June 3, 2025.

Brightline Discount & Loews Hotel Credit
Simultaneously, Brightline also unveiled its partnership with Loews Hotels – Loews Miami Beach and Loews Coral Gables, which gives your clients a discount of 20% on Brightline tickets and a $100 food credit at either of the hotels when they book a two-night stay. (Advisors must use code “Loews20” to receive the 20% discount on a SMART fair rate.)
“There are so many reasons to ride Brightline to Miami for a getaway and the Loews Miami Beach and Loews Coral Gables are equally beautiful retreats to call home for a much-needed escape,” said Barbara Drahl, senior vice president, marketing and commercial strategy at Brightline. “This new partnership makes a weekend of luxury even more enticing. We look forward to connecting families, couples and friends to these two award-winning properties.”

Princess Partnership Celebrates One Year
Another partnership that travel advisors should be familiar with is Brightline’s partnership with Princess Cruises, which celebrates one year on April 5.
With the Rail & Sail program, Princess cruisers taking Brightline to their Fort Lauderdale-based cruise can check-in their luggage – for an extra fee – at the Brightline station (either Orlando or West Palm Beach) and have them transferred directly to the ship from the train. (Advisors booking tickets on behalf of their clients should select the Brightline ride marked with a Princess Cruises icon.)
Princess provides guests with complimentary motorcoach service between Brightline’s Fort Lauderdale station and Port Everglades.
Other Brightline Updates
Coming soon for Brightline will be new interline agreements that allows travel advisors to book train tickets in the same booking as airfare.
“We’re working with a number of different airlines to make that a more seamless opportunity,” Blasewitz said.
As for further Brightline stations, both in Florida and on the West Coast, construction on Brightline West is slated to begin this year, with an opening date set for the end of 2028.
Along the current Florida corridor, the line is “far enough along to be excited” about conversations for a station in Cocoa Beach, which would be the closest station to Port Canaveral. An opening date for that station wouldn’t be until 2028 as well.
