No list of the world’s most popular tourist destinations is complete without Paris in the top ten. The “City of Lights” appeals to visitors of all ages and sensibilities with plenty of cultural attractions, fashion and shopping, an active nightlife and more. While many tourists are content to stay in massive hotels, others prefer something more intimate, with a distinct personality and high-touch service that make each stay memorable.

Here are nine boutique hotels in Paris that also happen to value the importance of partnering with travel advisors.

(Travel Market Report has not been to any of these properties. Inclusions are based on travel advisor recommendations and the travel advisor-friendliness of the properties.)

1. Espirit St. Germaine
Why Your Clients Will Love It: No hotel was more recommended to TMR than this 28-room Left Bank property, which is within walking distance of Parish highlights including the Luxembourg Garden, Notre Dame and the Louvre.  Entirely renovated in 2021, the hotel has all the modern amenities your client wants (like high-speed Wi-Fi and USB ports for charging), while still maintaining an intimate, friendly atmosphere.  Amenities include complimentary drinks in the Library Lounge and from the in-room mini-bar, complimentary fruit tray (replenished daily), complimentary American-style breakfast, and a butler to pack or unpack (by request).

Why You’ll Love It: Advisors love this boutique hotel for its location and its five-star service, which always leaves clients feeling happy. Bookings earn a 10% commission (paid within 15 days of the client’s departure date), and the hotel extends a special rate to advisors for personal stays depending on requested dates and hotel occupancy. Advisors can book directly with the hotel or with their preferred GDS, though special requests are more easily handled when booking directly.

2. Brighton Hotel
Why Your Clients Will Love It: Give your clients a room with a view at this 62-room boutique property. Located on the Rue de Rivoli, immediately across from Tuileries Garden, most of the rooms have a view of the Tuileries Garden, Louvre, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower or Arc de Triomphe. House in a 19th-century building, rooms are decorated in period Parisian furniture and feature free Wi-Fi. The Place de la Concorde, Musee d’Orsay and Louvre are all within a half-mile walking distance.

Why You’ll Love It: Especially for travel advisors with clients visiting Paris for the first time, the views alone are praise-worthy. Travel advisors who recommended it to us cited the great location, the staff (especially the concierge) and the sales team at the Esprit de France collection of hotel (of which the Brighton Hotel is a member). The hotel pays a standard commission of 10% on non-promotional rates (IATA number required). Advisors can book directly with the hotel or with their preferred GDS.

3. J.K. Place Paris
Why Your Clients Will Love It: Opened in 2020, the first J.K. Place outside of Italy is a stylishly decorated property that boasts the over-the-top service the brand is known for. Located inside a former consulate – it took the company five years to find just the right location – J.K. Place Paris overlooks the Seine and is within walking distance of the Musee d’Orsay. The 29 rooms and suites are decked out in marble, cabinets are mother of pearl, and bathrooms are fitted with Dyson hairdryers. Room rates include a daily a la carte breakfast, minibar with soft drinks, bottled water and snacks, and Wi-Fi.

Why You’ll Love It: Service is the name of the game at J.K. Place Paris. Whatever your luxury clients’ demands, staff here can mostly likely make it happen. (Contact the hotel directly if you booked via GDS.) Commission is 10% on net VAT rates and the hotel offers travel agent rates upon request (depending on booking period). Staff are more than happy to write out welcome notes from advisors to their clients, as well. Advisors can book directly with the hotel, through Leading Hotels of the World of with their preferred GDS.

4. Maison Albar Le Vendome
Why Your Clients Will Love It: Clients looking for cultural immersion will find the 51-room Maison Albar Le Vendome to be a great base of operations. Located in Paris’ Opera district, the hotel is right next to the Opera Garnier, just steps from Place Vendome and less than a 20 minute walk from the Louvre. Families traveling with kids will love the kid-sized bathrobes, slipper and specially prepared kids’ breakfast. (Babysitting is available with advanced notice for an extra fee.) Prices include daily breakfast, high-speed Wi-Fi, a complimentary welcome drink and access to the indoor swimming pool.

Why You’ll Love It: Advisors recommend this hotel for its great location, five-star location and family-friendly atmosphere. Bookings earn 10% commission and discounted rates are available for advisors depending on seasonality and availability. Bookings can be made via GDS or directly. All special requests should be emailed to the reservations department in advance of clients’ arrival.

5. Majestic Hotel & Spa Champs-Elysees
Why Your Clients Will Love It: Long-stay hotels often lack any real character, but this sophisticated urban resort is anything but bland. Located a stone’s throw from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees, the Majestic Hotel & Spa Champs-Elysees has rooms and suites ideal for both short and long stays with more than half of the 57 rooms featuring kitchenettes. And then there’s the full spa with a wide array of treatments, a full-sized gym, saunas and swimming pool. Prices include free Wi-Fi.

Why You’ll Love It: As a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the Majestic Hotel & Spa Champs-Elysees offers several travel advisor perks and resources. Commissions start at 10% and advisors can book personal stays starting at 35% off through PH&R’s Travel Advisor Rate Program. Advisors can also sign their clients up automatically for the I Prefer member program to receive priority early check-in, late check-out and room upgrades.

6. Hotel Cambon
Why Your Clients Will Love It: Renovated during the pandemic, this 36-room hotel has all the modern amenities your clients want, while maintaining a traditional 19th century Parisian atmosphere. It’s also within walking distance of many of Paris’ top attractions including the Louvre, Tuileries Garden, the Concorde and Place Vendome. And, for fashion lovers, it’s just steps away from fashion mecca – the House of Chanel. Prices include free Wi-Fi and complimentary mineral water in the room upon arrival.

Why You’ll Love It: There’s little more reassuring to a travel advisor than knowing your clients will be well cared for, and the customer service at Hotel Cambon gets rave reviews. The hotel pays 10% commission (IATA number required); bookings can be made via your favorite GDS or made directly.

7. Hotel Eiffel Saint-Charles
Why Your Clients Will Love It: This 33-room boutique hotel is a great choice for clients visiting Paris for the first time and on a budget. It’s located just steps from the Seine, the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars, making it perfectly situated for romantic evening strolls in the heart of the city. Rooms all have a city view and the price includes free Wi-Fi.

Why You’ll Love It: Not every client is on an unlimited budget and advisors love this hotel for its intimate atmosphere, the quality of the rooms, and its prime location – all at a three-star price. The hotel offers travel advisor discounts for personal stays depending on season and availability. Bookings can be made via GDS or directly.

8. L’Empire Paris
Why Your Clients Will Love It: Set in a converted 18th century residence, this 42-room hotel is great for young clients, offering a decidedly contemporary feel. It’s about a 20 minute walk from several of Paris’ most popular sites including the Louvre, Sacre Coeur e Montmartre, Montmartre and the Rue Saint-Honore shopping district. Room rates include free Wi-Fi and use of local smartphones with unlimited calls and Wi-Fi.

Why You’ll Love It: A great choice for advisors with clients who prefer modern to period-style hotels. The hotel also offers day room rates for clients with late flights. Commissions start at 10% and advisors can book personal stays starting at 35% off through Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ Travel Advisor Rate Program. Advisors can opt to sign their clients up for the I Prefer member program to receive priority early check-in, late check-out and room upgrades.

9. Hotel Le Tourville
Why Your Clients Will Love It: Many of the best travel advisor-friendly boutique hotels in Paris are five-star gems, but not all clients can afford the five-star price. Le Tourville is a four-star property with an upscale, yet casual vibe that offers a lovely literary-themed experience. (There’s a great library with small bar for quiet evenings after a day of touring.) It’s also within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Hotel National des Invalides and the Rodin Museum. Prices include free Wi-Fi and complimentary bottled water.

Why You’ll Love It: Advisors recommended this hotel for its great location and spot-on customer service. Commissions are industry standard and bookings can be made via GDS or directly.
