It’s all action in Macau, as the first properties in a series of exciting new integrated resorts open their doors. Themed on the City of Light, The Parisian is the newest venture by Sands China and brings an additional touch of European elegance to the Cotai Strip. Boasting 3,000 guest rooms and suites, a 1,200-seat theatre, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and aquatic theme park, an extensive spa, and a host of innovative dining and entertainment options, the Parisian’s crowning glory is a half-scale Eiffel Tower that will hosts nightly light shows.
Nearby, the new Wynn Palace, the third property for the Wynn Group in the city and the first on the Cotai Strip, has also opened. Featuring an eight-acre performance lake that will backdrop nightly light and water shows, best viewed from Sky Cab cable cars that soar 90 feet above, the Wynn Palace has 1,706 guest rooms, suites and opulent villas, as well as the city’s largest spa, with 22 lavish treatment rooms. As with its sibling properties, dining plays an important role at the Wynn Palace, with world-class restaurants including the SW Steakhouse, the Wing Lei Palace, and the Wing Lei Bar, home to an 18th century crystal chandelier valued at US$25 million.
