Germany and Israel Partner to Provide Faith-Based Tours
The German National Tourist Office is teaming with the Israel Ministry of Tourism to offer faith-based tours in both counties.
In Israel, a five-day trip will follow Jesus’ path from his hometown of Nazareth through Galilee to Jerusalem, highlighting destinations significant to the Christian religion. The five-day Reformation tour in Germany will begin in Berlin, where Martin Luther, German priest and a seminal figure in the Protestant Reformation, lived and worked. The tour will then visit Wittenberg, Eisleben, Erfurt, and Eisenach, finishing in Frankfurt am Main.
The project marks the 50th anniversary of Germany and Israel establishing their diplomatic relationship.
