Starting at the end of 2023, Virgin Voyages will position one of its three “lady ships” Down Under. Resilient Lady, which will enter the Virgin fleet this summer, will move from Greece to Melbourne, Australia in late 2023 where it will sail to several Australian ports of call including Sydney, and Hobart and Burnie in Tasmania. It will also offer cruises to New Zealand with itineraries that include ports of call in Picton, Napier, Tauranga, Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin.
As part of the move, the ship will sail an epic 44-night journey that can be booked in its entirety or as one of three itineraries: “Ancient Athens to Modern Dubai,” “Dubai Delights to Singapore Sights,” and “Singapore, Bali and Australia.”
“Australia and New Zealand are without question the most beautiful countries in the world, and we knew that these destination, paired with the Virgin Voyages experience, will make it the most incredible holiday for our Sailors,” said Virgin Voyages president and chief experience officer, Nirmal Saverimuttu, an Australian himself.
Resilient Lady will remain Down Under from December 11, 2023 to March 27, 2024 where it will offer a mix of itineraries ranging from two to 14 nights. Reservations are now open and cruisers can save up to 30% if they book now.
