The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has launched ASTA Corporate, an initiative aimed at providing resources specific to corporate travel agencies and travel management companies (TMCs).
ASTA Corporate is “designed to better serve the unique needs” of corporate agencies, the organization said, by offering dedicated staff, research activities, and events. Mark Meader will serve as the executive vice president of the new entity.
“Mark’s vision and expertise will ensure that ASTA Corporate delivers exceptional value to its members,” said Zane Kerby, ASTA President and CEO. “Over the coming months he will have the full resources of ASTA at his disposal and will be assembling a specialized team to drive forward the goals of ASTA Corporate.”
ASTA Corporate will take the organization’s longstanding Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) to the next level with key research collaborations and strategic partnerships. For example, temoji consulting will lend its expertise on AI, air distribution, sustainability, technology, and more.
The first ASTA Corporate-exclusive event will be on Oct. 9, 2025, at the Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington, D.C. and give corporate travel advisors the opportunity to engage with high-ranking government officials about issues affecting the corporate travel sector.
“The corporate travel environment is facing unprecedented challenges, from the rapid adoption of emerging technologies to shifting client expectations and evolving industry dynamics,” Meader said. “We invite corporate travel professionals to join us in this exciting new chapter and to be part of a community dedicated to continuous excellence, innovation, and impact.”
