ASTA Announces New Hires, Promotions on Leadership Team

The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has made several staff changes, including new hires and promotions on its leadership team.
Notably, Sarah Little has been promoted to senior vice president of business development to oversee strategic partnerships, expand revenue opportunities, and deliver value for members and industry partners. Little first joined ASTA in 2012.
Michael Schottey, who joined ASTA in 2022, has been promoted to vice president of membership, marketing, and communications to focus on public messaging and advisor programming. Erika Richter, the former VP of communications, has announced her departure from ASTA after 10 years with the organization.
“These personnel moves reflect ASTA’s ongoing commitment to cultivating talent, recognizing exceptional contributions, and aligning our team to best serve our members and the travel advisor community,” said Zane Kerby, ASTA president and CEO. “With these leaders in place, ASTA is well-positioned to continue advancing our mission of supporting and advocating for the travel advisor community.”
ASTA has also promoted Rob Fleming to senior director of IT program management and hired Aleksandra Biskoup as the new vice president of finance.
In addition, ASTA has made the following transitions and promotions to the team:
- Jason Boeckman – Director of Marketing
- Pam Bonin – Director of Membership Engagement and Retention
- Andrea Caulfield – Director of Membership Sales
- Jasmine Causey – Director of Data Management
- Todd Wallace – Director of Industry Affairs
- Gwen Lane – Manager of Chapter Relations
- Teagan Webster – Senior Coordinator, Events
Previously, ASTA announced the promotion of Mark Meader to executive vice president to lead the newly formed ASTA Corporate, a division supporting corporate travel agencies and travel management companies.
