TICO Adds Three “Highly Requested Resources” to Registrant Toolkit

TICO has added new resources to its Registrant Toolkit.
The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO), has added new resources to its Registrant Toolkit to make it easier for travel professionals to highlight the benefits of booking with a TICO registered business to current and prospective clients.
Why should you share this information with clients? According to TICO, consumers who know about the protection available to them are significantly more likely to book with a TICO registered business (75% compared to 43% of the general public).
According to TICO’s recent registrant survey, 56% of registrants say they have visited the toolkit (it has garnered more than 10,000 visits since its launch), with 18% sharing its resources with all their customers and 15% sharing them with most customers.
The newly added resources are:
Social Media Video: A quick, engaging way to remind your customers and social media communities why booking with a TICO registered business gives them peace of mind.
Statement for Email Signatures & Invoices: A simple message linked to a landing page that keeps consumer protection top of mind.
