John Diorio Departs Virgin Voyages

John Diorio, Virgin Voyages’ head of sales for North America has departed the company after six years.
Diorio first joined the startup cruise line as director of sales, U.S. and western Canada, and has moved up the ranks, reaching vice president of sales for North America in 2022.
The news of Diorio’s departure was first reported by Seatrade Cruise News, and confirmed by Virgin Voyages.
“Virgin Voyages confirms that John Diorio, VP of North American Sales, has made the decision to resign,” a spokesperson told TMR. “John’s departure comes with great appreciation for his contributions, including building and establishing relationships with our travel advisor community and supporting our growth. We wish him well in all of his future endeavors.”
During this time of transition, Nathan Rosenberg, Chief Marketing Officer, will step in as acting leader of our talented Sales organization who remain dedicated to our travel advisor community.
Chief marketing officer Nathan Rosenberg will act as head of sales while Virgin Voyages looks for a replacement.
