Oceania is a small-ship, luxury cruise line that sails a fleet of six cruise ships to worldwide destinations.

Four of the six ships are Regatta-class ships—Regatta, Nautica, Insignia, and Sirena. All of those vessels were built prior to 2001 for Renaissance Cruises, all at similar sizes (around 30,000 tons) with similar passenger capacity (824 passengers in 343 cabins).

The other two ships, Marina and Riviera, are in the Oceania class. Both operate at 66,000 tons with a capacity of 1,250 passengers across 625 cabins, most of which include private balconies.

Oceania has two more ships on order as part of its new Allura class of ships—Vista, which is set to be delivered in 2023, and another not-yet-named ship. Both of those are expected to come into the service at similar sizes to the Oceania class of ships.

Destinations visited
Oceania is a worldwide cruise line, operating in all corners of the world, including in some far-off and less-known destinations in places like the Middle East, South Pacific, Northern Fjords, and more. Luxury guests looking for a unique, small-ship experience are likely to find it with Oceania.

The cruise line also offers a yearly World Cruise. Guests can opt to sail the whole itinerary or smaller segments.

Travel advisors can learn more about Oceania Cruises, its fleet and the destinations it visits, as well as find sales training modules via the line’s Oceania Cruises University.

Upon completion of the 13 core Oceania Cruises University courses, advisors will be recognized as an Oceania Cruises Certified Travel Advisors. Completing the core 13 courses and five elective courses earns advisors recognition as an Oceania Cruises Certified Specialist. With both designations, advisors receive a badge that they can use in both print and digital communications.

Additionally, reaching both Certified Travel Advisor and Certified Specialist statuses earns advisors a bonus commission certificate of $250 to be applied to their next Oceania Cruises booking. (That’s a total of $500 in bonus commission.)

Oceania is also working on a “graduate” level Certified Elite Specialist program, which will require the 13 core courses, three elective courses and six graduate courses. Achieving this status will earn advisors another $250 bonus commission certificate to be applied to their next Oceania Cruises booking.

Oceania also offers a Trade Insider e-newsletter specifically for its travel advisor partners that can be signed up for here.

Oceania Cruises Travel Agent Marketing Assistance
Oceania provides travel advisors with a robust collection of marketing assistance, ranging from help creating marketing plans to access to marketing dollars (via their DOS or BDM’s Co-op budgets), and everything in between. Plus, the marketing tab inside Oceania Cruises’ travel agent portal has a large selection of marketing materials that advisors can use for any marketing need.
