The next ship set to debut as part of MSC Cruises’ massive expansion plan, MSC Seaside, will do so with a number of new entertainment options, including seven new, original Broadway-style shows.
MSC unveiled the new entertainment offerings this week, announcing that aside from those Broadway-style shows, which will be performed in the ship’s Metropolitan Theatre, Seaside will also offer six different original concerts, ranging from opera to Latin.
MSC, for the first time, will also offer a new sketch-shop in partnership with comedy troupe BeerProv. BeerProv will perform its unscripted comedy show in the Metropolitan Theatre six nights a week.
All those shows will be offered up to four sittings each night beginning at 6 p.m., giving guests a flexible schedule each night.
Aside from its entertainment offerings, MSC also announced this week that Seaside will give families more options and flexibility for activities and childcare onboard. Two LEGO Rooms will be open for playtime, a first for MSC.
One room will mirror the ship’s Caribbean environment, open for agents three to six, while the other will sport a Pirate theme, open for agents 7 to 11.
For parents, Seaside will have a late night group babysitting available for children ages 3 to 11 until 2 a.m. each night. It will be open for drop-offs from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m., giving parents the option of exploring a port while their children play onboard.
